Madura Pass Oasis Hotel

At Madura, we were reminded during check-in of the new time and that dinner is served until 7:30 PM... when we expressed some surprise, the friendly lady at the reception informed us that she had to work again at 6 AM 😅 how nice that we are on vacation 🥳

The gas station also closes early in the evening, and we were kindly informed that the next gas station is in Border Village (about 2 hours away) 😁

We then found a spot in the restaurant, and the nice lady from the reception was now our waitress.

The meals we chose were more than satisfying, as can be seen with the sausages and mashed potatoes from Maria 😁😁

The Emu Export is definitely worth recommending.

After our meal, we made ourselves comfortable in front of our rooms and had a long conversation with Charly, who was on his way to a vintage car meet with an acquaintance. These vintage cars can only drive a maximum of 300 km at a stretch, which means that you are not only dealing with a two-hour drive but are also always busy looking for the next gas station.
