Day 8: Tour of St. Petersburg

Yesterday we arrived in St. Petersburg and while we were waiting to check in at the hotel, we already visited the main attractions: Blood Church, Summer Palace (has over 3000 rooms and takes about 12 years to visit all of them), Palace Square, Peter and Paul Cathedral, and more.





This morning we had a 4-hour guided tour. Specifically, it was a car ride to the main attractions in St. Petersburg. In addition to those we already saw yesterday, it included Nevsky Prospect, Palace of Arts, Kazan Cathedral (main cathedral), Aurora ship (symbol of the October Revolution), New Holland Island, Smolny Cathedral, Summer Garden, and the Saint Nicholas Naval Cathedral.


Otherwise, it is said that the weather in St. Petersburg is very cold and changes 3 times a day. That's why the people of St. Petersburg always carry an umbrella with them :)
