27. Tag: Sommerpalast Jingshan Park

Today was our last day in Beijing. As the Forbidden City is always closed on Mondays, we decided to visit the Summer Palace today. It took us over an hour by subway to get there.

The grounds were huge and very crowded. It was also very hot and humid, so it was quite exhausting, but still very beautiful.





Afterwards, we went to Jingshan Park. We were told that there is a hill where you can see the Forbidden City from above. And yes, we could see it and had a beautiful view of the city in general.



After one last Chinese meal, we only had to pack up and head back to the hotel. Tomorrow we will already be flying back to Germany.
