Day 17: Irkutsk and Lake Baikal again

We had the past and today off. Yesterday we visited the Decembrists Museum.



We also went to the Railway Museum of the Trans-Siberian Railway.

In the evening, we went to the Island of Youth and watched the sunset.


Today, we decided to go to Lake Baikal again, to Listvyanka. The journey took about an hour and cost 2 euros per person.
In Listvyanka, it was about 10 degrees colder and hazy, so we decided not to take a boat trip on Lake Baikal :)
Instead, we went back to the market, ate shashlik, drank tea with milk, and walked around the village. Eventually, the weather got better, but we still went back to the city at 4 p.m. We still had to do some shopping and packing, because tomorrow morning our train leaves for Mongolia.
