The Ruppis are in Italy 🇮🇹

Yesterday, we took a drive of about 3.5 hours from Croatia to Italy. Just before Venice, on an island, we found a lovely campsite. “Dei Fiori” is located on the southern side of the town of Cavallino-Treporti. The site is very new, which is noticeable in terms of cleanliness, location, activities, and fine sandy beach. There is even a beautiful children’s pool where Luis and Lea can shower and play. 😀🚿🐟

What's surprising is that the water in the pool and the sea is bathtub temperature. 🧐 You don't really cool off from the warm temperatures here, but at least the kids don’t freeze as quickly. ☺️ As for the weather - yes .. what can I say! Tropical, hot & humid. Probably just like the days in Germany. 🇩🇪 ☀️🥵

Tomorrow we’re heading to Venice. With the local bus from the campsite to the port, we’ll take a speedboat to Venice in about 30 minutes. 🚤 We are so excited about the city, the canals, the pizzas ☺️ and the people. We’ll head out quite early around 8:00 AM - let’s see when we’ll be back and what impressions and experiences we’ll have to share when we lie in bed at night. 😅❤️🇮🇹🌊🏖️🏊‍♂️
