Hike to Henigfoss

Early in the morning, we started a hike to Henigfoss 🌊. The weather was fantastic☀️🏞. The ascent was about 250 meters and went along a canyon, which showcased the columnar basalt like from a textbook (okay, okay, stolen from the travel guide)...

The descent was a bit tricky as the sun had softened the ground by then. It turned into a slippery, stumbling, muddy adventure on our way back to the car, and we continued our journey towards Höfn.
