Pöhlsee Dam

Wednesday, shopping for the club dinner this evening, one group is hiking and another is cycling.

First, the batteries are removed from two cars, and new ones are ordered. Done. The hiking group sets off to explore a little piece of the reservoir. It goes through the beautiful oak forest up to the dam. Now it's uphill, the path is too steep for some, and they turn back. They leave an RMF directional arrow. The others ascend to the Julius-Mösen Tower. A beautiful view is the reward. A little later, the cyclists set off for Plauen. An incline of 19% makes them push their bikes. Made it, Plauen has its charm too. Back again, some have already prepared the meal, the new batteries have also arrived and been reinstalled in the RVs. Perfect, now our ***** chef Gerd can get started. There is sautéed pork with cream of mushroom sauce, served with Barillia pasta and green salad. Vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips, whipped cream, and waffles. Everyone enjoyed it very much and nothing was left over. After the briefing, there's a nightcap, such a lovely evening...
