Monday

Monday morning, it's already warmer and the sun is shining. Two different teams are getting ready to start. One group rides the so-called Ring Tour, while the others go hiking with Irmi. It's eleven o'clock and we're off....

The cyclists form three smaller groups, each led by our travel hosts. Gentle hills, green forests, lush meadows, fields with sunflowers, wheat, barley, and corn accompany us on the circular route. According to legend, the queen lost her ring along this path and the finder is said to receive special rewards. We did not discover the ring. The Franconian Saale also springs up here. The water castle Brennhausen is currently being restored....A beautiful building surrounded by many trees.

Irmi leads the hikers. There are many steep climbs, but the view compensates for everything. It's a beautiful route and the walkers are very enthusiastic. Just before the CP ...a family of ducks with many little ducklings.

Arriving at our campers, we rest a bit; some drink coffee, while others prepare dinner. Tina treats us to small delicious puff pastry pies. Elke conjures up salmon and ham dips with baguette, and our cooks prepare another tasty sausage salad. Once again, we enjoy the delicious dinner together. After the cleanup, Jupp and Ricci hold the briefing, which ends with a nightcap.

Another beautiful day comes to an end.
