Get up, apply sunscreen, pack your bag and go. A bit sleepy, we get on the bus that takes us to the starting point of our tour. After a short safety briefing and getting to know the kayaks, we head out to the sea. We paddle along the coast for 3 hours more or less. Sometimes we go to a small island where only birds join us for breakfast, then Katie (our guide) takes us to a bay where the sea lions play in front of us in the water. After lunch and coffee, we say goodbye to Katie at a beach that would also make a good movie set and make our way back on foot. On the 12-kilometer long path, we can enjoy the view of the sea again and again, if the dense rainforest allows it. The New Zealand rainforest fascinates us.
After a long day, we are now sitting in the lounge of the campsite. After a portion of scrambled eggs with onions, we are pretty tired but still want to make you a little jealous with some nice picturesJ
Tomorrow at 9 o'clock in the morning, we will take a water taxi to the national park. We want to explore another part of the park.
