#31: Sightseeing in Kampot

The day starts surprisingly earlier than we had planned. We are woken up by a very persistent and loud crowing rooster at around 5 am. After checking the time, we ignore the rooster and only get up around 9 am.

This time we didn't book breakfast at the hostel, so we went to a nearby restaurant for breakfast. Today we have pancakes and a pineapple shake.

Today we just want to explore the city and enjoy the atmosphere. We take a break from the heat and have a cold cola on our rooftop terrace. In the meantime, we see some thick, sometimes dark clouds forming over the mountains near Kampot. Looking at the weather forecast, we find out that a thunderstorm is predicted for the day after tomorrow (at 34°C). We're curious to see how it will turn out!
