We found a way into Parque National da Ria Formosa and wandered around a bit. Felix had to ride in the bike trailer again for a while.

Tomorrow we have decided to explore the long sandy beach of Tavira on Ilha da Tavira separately. Dogs are not allowed on the boat, but we don't want to miss out on this completely. We will probably go on Wednesday, at the latest Thursday, visit Tavira first and then try to rent a campsite in Portugal again. The 'winter season' with reduced prices is about to start here. It's unbelievable, but the campsites are expecting a huge rush. Apparently, it never gets empty here.

Many places are completely booked for the winter months. There are huge holiday resorts, apartment areas, etc.

Update: We actually found a bike path. I will report tomorrow where it leads.
