Tonle Sap Lake 4.11.

Today we went to Tonle Sap Lake with our driver and our guide Veasna. On the way there, we also briefly visited a local market ..... it was a real experience .... especially in terms of smell 🤤🙄😶..... Too bad you can't capture smells in photos! But again - the people here are extremely friendly and you can stroll through the market without hindrance, even if you don't buy anything.

By boat - which, by the way, was in an unimaginable condition for us - we drove along the Siem Reap River, past the floating houses and mangroves, out onto the lake. There we made a short stop - the boat's engine needed to rest 😊 - and immediately a woman with a small fishing boat came to sell her goods to us.....

On the way back, we stopped at a temple - the boat's clutch had given up the ghost 😁 . After a short tour, the boat was in good enough condition to continue the return journey....... albeit with smoke signals, but we made it back 😅!

This afternoon, relax by the hotel pool, go to the city again in the evening, and tomorrow we will continue to Thailand!
