Setting off to Bangkok

Currently sitting at the airport waiting for the flight to Bangkok. We've already had quite an adventurous day!

We were picked up from the hotel by a minibus. Our bus was stopped by the police at the (border?) crossing to Phuket. The driver had to step out and the vehicle was thoroughly searched 🤤🤤🤤🤤. After a short while, a smiling police officer explained to us that our bus driver was arrested for drug possession!! Since the police refused to take us to the airport themselves 🙄, the drug dealer was allowed to make a phone call to arrange for a replacement bus and the transfer could continue. BANGKOK here we come!
