Snobs and Dummies

I was able to sleep in, it didn't start until 10 AM.


The headache was still there; I desperately needed caffeine. Instant coffee and hot water, better than nothing. I briefly considered opening the gift I had brought for my contacts. Little coffee bags from Hanover, so delicious!


I made myself porridge with nuts and chopped up some small apple cubes. Ticket on my phone, €8.80 for a day pass - well, fine! I need to get a weekly ticket next time.


The bus stop is right next to the dorm, super practical. 20 minutes to the university of applied sciences, that's manageable. Once I got off there, I immediately found the building. Extremely modern, lots of glass. Wow, I was really impressed. The mountains in the background. How is one supposed to focus on class with that?

Mr. M. came in a suit. Snob.

He immediately apologized, saying this was not usually his typical dress code, but today there would be visitors. We discussed the plan for the next two weeks, finally... a plan! A good mix of different semesters. Theory and practice. Right up my alley.

I also got a campus tour. Where to find the best food, the best coffee. If I want, I can always have an office unlocked. I don't need to hang out with the students during my breaks. Haha, okay, so I’m officially one of the old ones now.

Maybe I will take advantage of that.

We also went to the skills labs. Now I couldn't close my mouth. I'm staying here, an absolute dream. Three huge rooms, bright, modernly equipped. Enough beds and dummies for everyone. With hair. Almost real.
