Tag 59: Queenstown - Wanaka

Despite the bad weather forecasts, today is a relatively sunny day as well. We continue on to Wanaka. After yesterday's experience, we have another walk in mind: Rob Roy Glacier Track. But this time we book a shuttle for the 50km gravel road.

In Wanaka, we already feel almost at home. It will be our third night here. We have rarely spent so much time in one place on our journey. And it really is a nice little town. We go to take the photo of the Wanaka Tree and I also take a short hike to the viewpoint at Lake Diamond.

Tomorrow morning we'll head to the glacier.
