Tag 36: Tablelands - Mission Beach

Our journey continues towards Mission Beach. Along the way, we see more waterfalls. At the car park for the Wallicher Falls, we were attacked by hungry monster horseflies. Despite using insect spray, we couldn't escape their bites on the way to the waterfalls. We quickly took a photo of the beautiful waterfall and retreated back to the van.

At Mission Beach, we make the next stop and spend some time at the beach. Here, we can even go into the water without any crocodile danger.

We would have loved to visit the Blencoe Falls as well - but we have to postpone that for another time, as the road from Mission Beach is only accessible with a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
