Day 19: Palo Alto, Santa Cruz, and Highway 1

2017, the most inconvenient year for a road trip in California. Record heat in San Francisco, wildfires in Yosemite NP, road closure at Big Sur, the most beautiful part of Highway 1 (our main destination).

We start from San Francisco, first heading to Palo Alto, the birthplace of Silicon Valley, and stop by the HP Garage and the Google Headquarters.

Then, we continue to Santa Cruz and Monterey.
