11th - 13th December 2016 - Alvor

Sunday - There was a large market at the harbour of Alvor. Mostly fruits, vegetables, walnuts, almonds, figs, dates, and cakes were offered. In the afternoon, we took a long walk through fields and meadows.

Monday - Laundry day :-)

Tuesday - After breakfast, we wanted to take a short walk, but it turned into a four-hour walk along the lagoon to the harbour, then along the Atlantic Ocean and back through the city. I got wet shoes and pants, underestimated the waves, and wasn't fast enough. But it was much better to walk barefoot. Today, some even went swimming. It's still around 20 degrees Celsius.

Tomorrow, we will continue driving a bit further.
