Back on the tour

After breakfast and packing up, I headed back to the bus station. There's much to admire along the way, so I hiked up to the castle with all my belongings to enjoy the view of Ljubljana, or as it is called in German, 'Laibach.' I also passed through a market by the river, where the life of this city unfolds, filled with fresh vegetables, fruits, and other goods. The city is manageable and not so big, with a population of about 280,000. It's dotted with many churches and majestic buildings from earlier times. I took the bus back to Idrija, where my tour continues today on August 11.
