11th November - Sydney

Claudia and Darren took us to the ferry this morning.

Then we went to the city center by ourselves. The ferry terminal is right next to the famous Opera House. An impressive ride. We've had this before: real impressions cannot be reproduced, neither in words nor in pictures. We are both very grateful to have the opportunity to experience all of this. Darren and Claudia, along with their 9-year-old son Marcus, are very kind hosts. Very nice lovable people. We'll invite them for dinner tonight.

As impressive as Sydney is, this huge city with its 5 million inhabitants is very loud, very hectic. We can barely stand it. Tomorrow we want to go to the beach near Claudia and Darren's apartment. The day after tomorrow we will probably continue on our journey.
