Day 15: Happy New Year

Today turned out to be a relatively short day. I didn't leave bed. Sabrina and Andi were out in the morning and got me medicine for fever and cough. After that, they explored the city without me. Since I wasn't feeling any better in the evening, they went to a Brazilian steakhouse on their own because we had a reservation. And I had already prepared myself to sleep through the New Year's Eve. But about 30 minutes before midnight, they reappeared with a bottle of rosé to toast the new year with me. Unfortunately, the weather also didn't cooperate for outdoor celebrations. It was pouring rain since early evening. So we watched the countdown from Times Square on TV. I then got the first impressions through photos of New York.
