Once again today, I surpassed the sound barrier of 100 kilometers. It seems that I have regained my fitness. The two weeks of vacation before in Argentina were wonderful and I wouldn't want to miss them, but even the daily walks through Buenos Aires weren't enough training for such tours.
Yesterday, after my arrival, I didn't get the chance to take a nap. As a result, I was particularly tired in the evening and slept well and deeply.
I woke up exactly on time at 6 a.m. Still in bed, I checked today's route and started to intensively plan for tomorrow as well. I aimed to set today's destination in such a way that it serves as an ideal starting point. However, I won't know if I succeeded until I complete tomorrow's tour. I really want to avoid ending up on a dusty road again where I have to push my e-bike.
I spent the first 50 kilometers only on roads, albeit with moderate traffic. The route was divided into different sections, the longest of which was 18 kilometers. There were also bike paths later on, but in much shorter segments.
Alongside the roads, I regularly saw memorials that looked like graves. All were very well-maintained and some even had fresh flowers. This indicated to me that accidents happen frequently. So far, I have not encountered any.
After exactly 100 kilometers, I arrived at the shore of Lake Balaton. I have many fond memories of this lake: camping with Mario and friends from the GDR, and sailing with Jürgen and Utz.
But this time, it is just a brief encounter. After a small snack, I took to the road for the last kilometers. By then, I had booked accommodation and thus knew my destination for the day.

Parece que he recuperado mi forma física.
