Leave Šiauliai towards the East again around 10:00 am. 220 km to Vilnius. The weather is sunny, 23°C.

The first 70 km on the highway are fine. I take occasional breaks in smaller villages.

After Panevėžys, the highway turns into a well-built motorway, too boring for me. I turn onto the country road near Ukmergė. Mistake! 2 km outside the city, the pavement changes from asphalt to gravel ... for 15 km ...

Still arrived in Vilnius at 5:00 pm.
