Rallavegen Stage 1 from Haugastol to Finse

After the ferry dropped us off in Oslo, we cycled to the central station in the bike-friendly capital. Good thing we arrived early. The Bergen Railway is very popular with cyclists. The conductor is helpful, as transporting bikes is always a tricky business. We travel for 4 hours through the beautiful landscape to Haugastol. In Haugastol, we leave the train. Oops, the adjustable seat post no longer works, and suddenly I can't pay with Rai Pay. No worries, there's always a Plan B. Now we're off, and we are excited about the Rallavegen. After 28 km through the picturesque scenery, we have arrived in Finse at our hotel. The reception is very friendly, dinner, beer & Aperol are good but not quite cheap.
