West Coast of Sweden July 5th-12th, 2023/July 9th

Today we visit the Läckö Castle in Lidköping. The castle is located on the island of Kallandsö in Lake Vänern and is one of Sweden's baroque castles. Today, the castle is a popular attraction. With exhibitions and opera performances, additional visitors are attracted. The small but magnificent castle garden has a new impressive garden theme every year. Today is also a sunny and clear summer day, so what does a car enthusiast do? Take out their prized possession, and that's how we were fortunate enough to see many vintage cars on our way back. We admired them in a garden of a café along the road, just like many other Swedes. In Uddevalla, we take an evening walk along the beautifully constructed wooden pier by the sea. And so, a beautiful day comes to an end with gratitude.
