West Coast of Sweden July 5th-12th, 2022/July 6th

Today we continue our journey to our house in Uddevalla. While passing through the town of Katrineholm, we can already observe a beautiful hare, always an experience to be able to observe wildlife up close. Through beautiful, vast fields and many lakes, we continue westwards. In Mellerud, we visit the Skallerud Church. The presumably medieval church square is located on a hill at the northern end of Lake Nären. The church is a popular wedding church and was awarded the most beautiful church of the year in 2004 by the newspaper Aret Runt. A quiet and great place. In the early evening, we reach Uddevalla, our little house is located slightly on the outskirts of the city, at a beautiful forest edge right by the lake.
