Norway trip May 26-June 17, 2022/June 2

Today, we go once again for 'sea eagle observation' towards Hovden. Since we researched yesterday evening that sea eagles gather in the morning to catch fish, we decide to leave after breakfast. In beautiful warm weather, we spot the first one sitting by the sea after a short drive. We observe many sea eagles for about two hours. After that, we take a nice trip to Langenes, through beautiful nature, fjords, and many beautiful small towns. Langenes is a former municipality in the Norwegian county of Nordland. The municipality, which existed from 1919 to 1964, included the west shore of Gavlfjord in the present-day municipality of Oksnes. It is located at the northern end of the large island of Langoya in the Vesteralen Archipelago. In the evening, we enjoy the midnight sun with food and card games.
