Today our journey continues towards Stavanger. We decide to take a break in Flekkefjord, an idyllic coastal town. There, we experience the warm welcome of the locals to tourists. One summer house owner spontaneously shared stories about his life and the town. From Flekkefjord to Bore, the Norwegian Scenic Route Jæren runs.                Travel Information

The Norwegian Scenic Route Jæren runs between Bore and Flekkefjord, with detours to Sogndalsstranda. Among the many lighthouses along the Jæren coast, the Kvassheim lighthouse is particularly worth a visit. For cyclists: This is a bike tour close to the North Sea. Keep in mind that the wind while cycling in the open landscape can be a challenge. If you prefer a quieter route, you can follow the National Bicycle Route 1, the Coastal Route, outside of the Scenic Route. This section is also part of the European long-distance cycling route EuroVelo 12, the North Sea Cycle Route.            A beautiful route recommended for anyone traveling to Southern Norway. Our journey continues to Stavanger where we will spend the next two nights.
