During the night, we made short stops in Mehamn, Kjollefjord, and Honningsvag. In the morning, we will make a brief stop in Havosund, from where we will continue to Hammerfest. With Vardo, Hammerfest is the oldest city in Northern Norway. On the island of Melkoya, located in front of Hammerfest, there is the largest liquefied natural gas plant in Europe, which has created approximately 350 jobs for Hammerfest. In the afternoon, we will leave Hammerfest and continue towards Oksfjord and Skjervoy. When entering Oksfjord, we will witness a Northern Lights show like we have never seen before, the entire sky is ablaze, almost without interruption until Skjervoy, where the next Northern Lights show awaits us. All of this started around 4 pm and lasted until about 5 pm. An unforgettable experience.
