Hurtigruten Richard With 20th of December 2022

After our extensive ship tour on our beautiful Richard With yesterday, a calm night with calm seas, we arrive in Alesund early this morning. With fresh snowy landscapes and improving weather, we embark on the old nostalgic excursion boat through the Hjordfjord towards Saebo, a small village. Here, we visit an old farm, whose oldest building dates back to 1590. The farm consists of a total of 8 buildings. The young hostess gives us a short tour of the farm. The 5-course lunch is prepared using local products, including wine from Italy, as no wine is grown in this area. As an alternative, there was a very delicious fruit wine from the region. In the early evening, we return to our ship in Alesund. From there, we continue to Trondheim.
