In the Clouds
For me, cloud forests always have something mystical, fairytale-like. This could be the home of fairies and elves who roam the forests on their unicorns. Today we are heading to...

How quickly a week goes by. Tomorrow we will leave this beautiful place and go to another paradise. The Osa Peninsula will be our last stop in a country that I hold so dear to my heart.
Since Montezuma's revenge has completely paralyzed me today, I treat myself to some rest, lie on the balcony and enjoy the overwhelming view.
I actually don't want to travel any further. The Tulemar is such an incredible place that it will be very difficult for me to say goodbye tomorrow.
All the employees and managers of the countless high-priced hotels in Germany should be trained here. Here you actually have the feeling of being king.
No matter where you go in the resort, you will be greeted with a friendly hola or a wave. You feel as if you are a guest of the family. This is balm for the battered German soul driven by stress and hectic pace.
The nature that surrounds the resort further contributes to the absolute perfection of the experience here. Yesterday I stood by a tree for minutes to watch a mother sloth and her baby. All negative thoughts fall away, all worries and fears. This morning I'm sitting on the terrace and watching the Squirler Monkeys go about their business. If you are in a bad mood here, it will immediately transform into an indescribable inner peace and contentment.
Our concierge Chris, who seems to work 24 hours a day, is always there for us. This morning he brought me medicine for my diarrhea. Every day he brought us a small gift. When we have a problem, no matter what the problem, Chris always seems to have the right solution. His kindness doesn't seem fake, it's genuine.
As always in paradise there is a snake. Here in Tulemar, this snake means extremely high prices. These are exactly what keep me and my husband from traveling here every year. There is simply no better place to leave the stress of everyday life behind, but everything has its price.
We will do everything we can to visit this paradise again very soon.
Pura Vida Tulemar, we will miss you
