After a long wait, our day had finally come. The eternal wait was finally over and in the morning we set off for Berlin Tegel Airport, from where our first flight to Amsterdam...

Not even 7 o'clock - awake. Awake would be an exaggeration, but the internal clock and the anticipation of the next few days make us forget any eye burning.
The sun is shining, the good American breakfast is calling and the dog is also expecting his cuddles.
12 o'clock - we are looking forward to a welcome potluck at the local church. Getting to know each other, eating, discussing important things for the next few days. Oh yes ... and eating!
Other than that, we enjoy our Sunday - each in our host family....
