Enjoying a view is something very special for the human eye. That's why many people go to the mountains to admire the panoramic view known as the panorama at the end of their tour. Such a panoramic view of the city of Brunico can be experienced from the village of Amaten in the Puster Valley. It's unbelievable what a view awaits you here. The Kronplatz, a panoramic view of the entire city of Brunico and part of the Dolomites of the Hochpuster Valley can be admired here.

How do I reach the village of Amaten?

Amaten is not particularly well-known when one talks about South Tyrol, but I consider this place to be one of the most admirable in the Puster Valley, especially because of the panoramic view of the city of Brunico. From Brunico, you drive east towards the village of Perca. Here, the road branches off which leads to Amaten. This junction is particularly easy to recognize because of the opposite shopping center, the M-Preis. After a few kilometers uphill, out of the forests, you will see a house on the left side, the so-called Hotel and Mountain Inn Amaten.

Pure romance in Amaten

Once arrived in Amaten, it is hard to escape the Hotel and Mountain Inn Amaten. The superior 3-star hotel in the Puster Valley in South Tyrol is located in the most romantic and dreamlike location around the city of Brunico. Dreams really do come true here. After a coffee break at the restaurant of the Hotel Amaten, you stroll through the beautifully maintained garden of the hotel towards the meadow. At first sight, you will already notice a lonely tree standing on the pasture in front of you. This tree emits something very special, a feeling of solitude and at the same time endlessness. The date of a wedding couple is written on the tree, which could therefore be called the so-called love tree or proof of love. This tree is so lonely and yet there is a certain eternity around it, namely the impressive and endless panorama over the city of Brunico in the Puster Valley. From here, you can also admire the Kronplatz and part of the Dolomites of the Hochpuster Valley, a truly beautiful area in the Puster Valley.

My conclusion:

What a great view you can admire from the village of Amaten in the Puster Valley. Whether in summer or winter, such a view over the city of Brunico and the Kronplatz ski area is always something unique. The hotel can really speak of a dream location, who wouldn't want such a place?! I have visited this wonderful area several times already and I always love to come back. If you want to eat well, I can highly recommend the Mountain Inn Amaten based on my own experience, where culinary delights truly come true.
