Friday work

This morning we cleaned the elephant enclosure and after that went to check the electricity on the lion fence.

We also put some corn in a trap enclosure for wild geese and some hay in a trap enclosure for springbok since there are to many on this side of the reserve.

Then we went back and continued with our own elephant that we were building out of cardboard and paper to fill with food and give it to the lions. Like a meat Piñata.

After lunch we walked back, the last few days the weather had been a lot nicer so its actually warm now. We made the elephant food and then went to fill up the water buckets around the big enclosure.

So on the back of the car was just this giant water container and we had to squeeze in. Then we drove to the water buckets over stones and bumps so water kept splashing out of the container on us.

We went to three different ones and filled them up with a total of around 1000liter water. Then we filled up the water inside one enclouse with some smaller containers.

On the way back we grabbed some groceries that we had ordered and toilet paper. The day was already over and we were driven back to our tents.

Tomorrow we plan on going to town to buy a few things.

After showering, a little break and then dinner we played some cards and talked for a while then we went to bed.
