3rd day Cook Islands

2.1. Today is also a public holiday (Recovery Day). We take the bus (only clockwise today) to the Rarotongan Beach Resort. Here, the resorts are mostly public, meaning that if you consume something, you are allowed to use the resort. Nothing easier than that.😊 A large beer costs around 5 € and there are beautiful beach loungers, a pool, and a nice view of the snorkeling area right on the beach. We meet Kim and Wolfgang from Brisbane. He is from Soest. Both speak German and we spend time chatting. Oops, missed the bus.🙄 The next one comes in an hour. So, back to the two of them. We only arrive home at dusk.
