Sunday morning until noon was free for us, and most used the time to explore the city center of Yerevan once more. Various markets and market halls were particularly popular, especially the Vernissage Market, which showcased crafts, art, and jewelry (a small tip: bargaining is worth it…).

In the afternoon, we gathered to select the pieces for the concert. Around 3:30 PM, we headed to the concert hall, where we rehearsed once again, both alone and together with the Armenian Little Singers (ALS).

The concert began at 7 PM, with the ALS opening it with a beautiful selection of Armenian pieces. We had the chance to listen to them and were impressed by their skill and the variety of pieces. Afterwards, it was our turn to present a selection from our repertoire, in which “Trilo” and “Immortal Bach” were particularly well received. The joint pieces “Kein schöner Land” and “Kilikia” delighted the audience, while “Yerevan Erebuni” (an anthem to the capital) was the crowning finale and brought some to tears. After the concert, Mr. Kammel introduced us to the Armenian composer Robert Amirkhanyan, who passionately presented his composition for the NKC.

In the evening, everyone got their own food, and we relaxed to wind down the evening.
