Today is departure day. After breakfast, we pack our things.
There are still about 300 km to Windhoek. On the side of the road, there are countless warthogs looking for their breakfast.
In Okahandia, we stop at an artist market and buy some souvenirs that will be placed in our living room or on the terrace.
In Windhoek, we park at the Christ Church, just like on the first day, and go out to eat one last time in the city.
Afterwards, we go to the car rental where we return the car with 3,800 km more on the odometer. No breakdown, no stone chip on the windshield, and we didn't even need the two spare tires. That is unusual for Namibia.
The drive to the airport and the check-in are problem-free. However, we wait for almost two hours at passport control because the new system is not working. At the last minute, we make it onto the plane!!
Now it's time to think back to the last weeks in the warmth and all the beautiful experiences.
It is cold in Germany!!!
