Barcelona-Montserrat

The ferry was on time in Barcelona! Of course, despite the navigation system, I got lost in Barca. Several streets were closed due to demonstrations and the detour kept leading me back to the same policewoman. She was annoyed and so was I! 😜

The drive to Montserrat at first seemed very boring, only the last stretch between the saw-tooth sandstone cliffs up into the mountains to the monastery was beautiful and exciting - the asphalt was excellent, only the many cyclists required a significant amount of attention.

I stayed in a monastery, not directly in one, but in a hotel associated with it - a small and fine room, a small and very fine restaurant.
