Laos - Thailand

On the second day on the river, we started early again at 5:30 am heading towards Thailand. We saw a lot of nature, forests, and animals. Breakfast and delicious lunch were served on board.

When we arrived at the landing stage, it was already 4 pm. We took the minivan to Laos Immigration. We had to pay 1 dollar again because we arrived after 4 pm. They called it the Overtime Fee. There were no difficulties at the Thai authorities. We went to the hotel, changed for the pool, and went swimming. Later, I went to explore the small town of Chiang Khong and have something to eat. I tried the Chicken Curry with locals, which was very spicy but delicious. After that, I joined the others at the pool for a while.
