In the last few weeks, I have somewhat neglected writing down the things I have done and experienced. Actually, I have completely skipped it.
Time has passed very quickly. I have spent more time at the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and quite frequently on Stradbroke Island. I visited waterfalls and went on some shorter hikes there. I achieved my annual goal of averaging 10,000 steps per day. It was an average of 10,001 steps per day in 2024. However, since I do not have my phone with me at work and I have to walk a lot there, it is actually much more. On Christmas, I worked, was later invited to dinner by my boss, and in the evening, I went to South Bank, where I had some beers with about 20 Germans. However, I didn't feel any Christmas spirit at all. On December 25th, I had a brief FaceTime call with my family at 5:30 AM, just as they were about to have dessert. On New Year's Eve, I arranged to meet a few Germans, and we went to the Mount Coo-Tah lookout point. It was super crowded up there, and the lookout point is just a small pavilion. Since people go up there by noon to secure good spots, we actually had really bad chances. Just before midnight, I had the idea to climb onto the roof of the pavilion, as it gives the best view, and no one is
