Tag 63: Temples until the doctor comes

Since we wanted to save the entrance fee for two days, we decided to take a full-day tour from sunrise at 4:30 am to sunset at 6:30 pm. We spent the whole day exploring the huge temple complex of Angkor with our personal tuk-tuk driver. We visited a total of 11 temples. At each temple, our private tour guide Jan read the information and dates from the guidebook. This gave us a really good insight into the history of these temples and the past epochs of the country.

The tour ended at 7:00 pm in the evening. We quickly went to the Indian restaurant for dinner and then went to bed exhausted... No alarm clock will be set tomorrow morning!
