We took the ferry and minivan to Krabi. A small and somewhat sleepy town on the west coast of Thailand.
Arriving in Krabi, we (as often) started exploring the city on foot. Somehow, we just didn't feel like having Thai food tonight, or rather, we were just in the mood for pizza when we passed by a small Italian restaurant... After refueling with pizza, we walked back to the hostel and fell exhausted into bed.
The next morning, a minivan picked us up at the hostel at half past 7. Today, we had a boat tour to the 4 most beautiful beaches near Krabi. Originally, the tour was planned to swim at the beaches... but we turned it into our own photo safari, because we had already had enough swimming and we both felt like taking pictures. Just take a look at the pictures...
After the boat tour, we definitely wanted to visit the Tiger Cave, which Krabi is actually known for. A temple that is high up on a mountain and can only be reached by climbing 1237 steps. Exhausted, we arrived just in time for the sunset...
What an exciting day today, quickly showering off all the sweat from the temple climb and then off to bed! Krabi was a really nice end down here in the south.
