Today we started at 7 o'clock in the hotel. Eldo took us to the airport in Cochin. Of course, we were again too early at the airport, especially since there was not much to see at Cochin Airport. The flight was pleasantly short, only 2 hours. Once landed in Mumbai, we will be picked up as usual and taken to our hotel. Mumbai has the largest slums in India, and during the approach, we flew directly over the slums. The contrasts in Mumbai are clearly visible on the way to the hotel, on one side the slums, on the other side a city that wants to become the second Shanghai with beautiful boulevards, beach promenades, and exquisite houses. We are staying at Vivanta by Taj and are happy about a room upgrade. We are located on the top floor, the 17th floor, with a view of the sea. Then the shock, the pool is closed due to renovation work. And that was supposed to be our afternoon program. However, the hotel organizes a transfer for us to the Taj Mahal Palace, the most famous hotel in Mumbai, where we can use the pool. Which we really enjoy. Back at the hotel, we have a short workout before dinner. We enjoy Indian food again, but it is a bit too spicy in the beautiful hotel restaurant....
