Our Chinese guests from last night didn't want breakfast this morning, they just wanted to use our pub kitchen. Magnus, being a gracious and kind host, didn't mind. So we got to sleep in a little later and after feeding the lambs, dogs, cat, and horses, and Magnus had his coffee, we planned out the day. Same horses as yesterday for everyone and their respective tasks. I was able to start this morning with my white giant - Jökull - who I think is in desperate need of a new home in Germany. I think the day can hardly start any better than going for a ride with such a horse here. And then I find it very exciting to slowly get to know the horses and their quirks and be able to train the horses accordingly. I also received positive feedback from Magnus about implementing the things he taught me as a rider.
In the afternoon, it was time to clean the pub. After all, the guests should find a clean and tidy pub. So Karin and I grabbed the cleaning rags and did a thorough cleaning. Our pub is not only a breakfast room but also a riding lounge and the place where the famous meatsoup is served and music is made in the evenings. After the cleaning, we definitely believed that we deserved at least 2 beers each tonight. And Karin and I made it happen. :-)
