After visiting numerous cities, we headed towards the sea. After all, we have been bodyboard owners since Denmark, so it had to be properly tested. All campsites were already full, so we parked in a simple parking lot under pine trees. It had a few toilets, waste disposal, and electricity, so everything was there for 15 euros per night. However, our search for an available power outlet at a charging station was unsuccessful, so we parked in an open space with a chance to get a plug at two charging stations.
I quickly made my way to the sea to see what the waves looked like. It was a really nice beach with decent waves. We had been wondering the whole time why it was relatively empty everywhere on our tour through France. Now we found the people, all at or in the sea.
Back at Louise, Della went shopping. Shortly after, someone actually left their spot and cleared the way for electricity. Our neighbor had also been waiting for it, so we used his cable reel and made the way free for other electricity users. In the evening, all spots on the cable reel were occupied.
Della's shopping wasn't really successful, and her comment "I never wanted to go to a place like this" hinted at a short stay.
Taking a dip in the sea, including bodyboard testing, made up for the initial not-so-good mood. And actually, the place was quite nice... and besides... we stayed for another night and I tried my hand at surfing again. The beginning is made, there will be plenty of opportunities for further skill development in the coming weeks. I'm excited!
