We stopped in Charleville-Mézières for a city walk. The main square of the city is really impressive, otherwise we had the impression that we had arrived in a less developed area.
The trip went over the border to Belgium, the last night was supposed to be at a campsite so that we could empty and clean everything first thing in the morning. So we are standing on a huge, very well-attended campsite (Camping Club Benelux), feeling like we are the only non-Benelux nationals.
The recommended dwarf beer (Chauffon) tastes very good, otherwise it is more of a melancholy mood. Should this really be the last night with our faithful companion Louise...?!?
