Malmö - 16th September

Published: 26.09.2019

The wind has been getting stronger and stronger. The sea is almost reaching the bus, so it's better to park somewhere else. This time, right next to the toilet house, pure pragmatism counts here. You don't want to walk across the whole square for minutes just to get rid of the lemonade. Forget about the spot right on the beach, where you can't see anything anyway due to the bad weather!

In the morning, it's the same game again. It's so windy that we can't open the rear bus doors to get to breakfast, everything blows through the car. We park again and make ourselves a coffee in the camp kitchen. From the only guest here, a potato of course, we receive the tip to go to the largest department store in Europe, only about 25 km away, Ullared!

Since Malmö, our next destination, is only about 160 km away, and we don't have any assignments and are hungry, because it's too windy here to have breakfast, we drive to Ullared!

Well... from underpants to fishing hooks, there's plenty here, but we don't need anything and we're also overwhelmed by this size and so many people in one place!

We just decide to go out for sushi and continue on to Malmö. Along the way, we realize that you can connect to the Wi-Fi on the Flixbus if you follow closely behind, perfect. That way, you save fuel and get free Wi-Fi! So, always keep an eye out for Flixbuses if you want to go online for free! It's still extremely windy and driving isn't fun.

In the afternoon, we reach Malmö and find a spot right by the Öresund Bridge. It's a passing place, but still nice... and... cheap! We take a long walk with the dog to the old harbor along the water through a beautiful park, buy cheap Swedish beer, and have a relaxed evening, still windy, but not as loud anymore.
