Devonport.

I met up with an old classmate and two others today to go to Devonport.

Devonport is very popular here and everyone who has been there is enthusiastic about Devonport, so Devonport has been on my to-do list for a long time.

Devonport is known here for its old charm, cafes, and restaurants, and is very popular among most Aucklanders.

So after meeting up with my classmate again, we wanted to go to Devonport. When we arrived at the harbor, we took the ferry and arrived at this cute little village.

We just walked around and came across this great viewpoint, Mount Victoria.

We enjoyed the evening at the beach and then headed back home.

On the way back on the ferry, you could see the skyline of Auckland. In my opinion, the skyline of Auckland with all the cranes, construction sites, and the container and trade port is not very beautiful. The only beautiful thing was actually the Sky Tower, which is illuminated in a different color every evening.

Nevertheless, it was a nice day.

I miss the "normal" pre-Christmas season with cookies, Christmas markets, mulled wine, and so on. Therefore, I'm not really in the Christmas mood, but enjoying the days at the beach is also nice.
