Today, I got up early, shortly after 6:00 AM local time. With a bit of nostalgia, I dragged myself out of bed and into the mini-bathroom of my hotel room. I thought to myself that three months have never flown by so quickly. Meanwhile, the water for my morning instant coffee was boiling away. Next to it, there were some improvised ready-made croissants from 7/11 ...
At 6:40 AM, I checked out, meaning I dropped my key at the unoccupied reception and off I went with my bags to the subway. Almost an hour and one transfer later, I arrived at the modern and partially greened Changi Airport. Everything was quite punctual and relaxed, as it continued to be. With 16.3 kg of checked baggage, there wasn't much weight gain, despite the fact that I had picked up a few more t-shirts...

Exactly at 0:05 AM, it also arrived at Dresden Neustadt station, and 7 minutes later, I was on the last mode of transport of my journey, namely tram line 6 of the DVB. From the hotel in Singapore to unlocking my apartment door in Dresden, I was on the road for another 23 hours and 50 minutes...
Now, the next few days will be about settling back into everyday life, overcoming jetlag, and processing all the many impressions...
