Crossing Kyoto in all directions...

Published: 22.07.2019

Rainy season can't actually stop us - it only drives up the taxi bills 😀. So we fight our way through Kyoto despite adverse weather conditions at a humid and wet 28 degrees, hoping not to catch a cold in the air-conditioned rooms at a felt 16 degrees!

Golden Pavilion, Mangas, and the Nishiki Market: Kyoto has a lot to offer and a completely different cityscape than Tokyo.

Does anyone fancy fried fish larvae? Seems to be a specialty... I won't find out ;-) Also a nice idea at the market: Beef Sushi 😂

... and once we go to a Starbucks because you can't get coffee anywhere else, and what do they sell us as sparkling water? Rosbacher Mineral Water - they obviously have a good international distribution line!

Ganz tolle Fotos!! Ja, der Kontrast zwischen Hypermodernem und Tradition in Japan ist echt faszinierend. 🤯
